What version of Firefox are you running? I'm using 3.6.12, and it usually uses 100-200 Mb, never a problem. Even when running flash stuff.
Nice Conky config, btw.

What do you think this is? /b/? C'mon now... :P
Muenster's my favorite. I love it on sandwiches.
Last proc I ordered came with a booklet, the CPU itself (was a Core 2 Duo E8400), a cooler, lots of plastic packaging, and an Intel Inside sticker.
The old logo (although I do like the new theme better than the old Human one), VLC, WINE, and GIMP by default. Also, not having the Bluetooth and other services running by default. The installer...
Yeah, I like the rubber backing on the Fuze better, although I had mine so long that it began to wear off in the corners and near the power switch, revealing the same metal casing as on the e200s.
They are technically replaceable.. You just have to pry the front plate off and (carefully) remove the LCD and circuit board. Then just desolder the 3 battery wires, and resolder a new one. Some...
I own both, and I think the Fuze is better overall. It has a much better scroll wheel. Also, the compass (up/down/left/right) buttons are a little weird at first on the e200s, where they are located...
I would say graphics card, try re-seating it, cleaning out dust and other crap that might be on the motherboard/slot.
Maybe BIOS, I've seen corruption in the text-mode character set before, but I...
$75 isn't bad for a Pentium 4 2.4GHz... But offer 60 at first. Worst case scenario is a bad motherboard, and if it's a Socket 478-type Pentium 4, it'll be hard to find a replacement. But I'm guessing...
Better yet, pop it in the microwave! :p
I just take and cut up those Swiffer dust cloths and tape them around the intake vents on my case. Works pretty well for me.
But yeah I've had to deal with a dust bunny from hell cleaning out my...

Anything that involves writing in raw machine code makes you a real nerd. :guitar:
I've had my IBM Pentium 4HT rig for about 5 years now, running 24/7, and have had no such capacitor problems. I really hope I can get at least another 5 years out of it, being one of the last IBM...

I spent like 15 minutes rearranging all the icons and applets, reboot, and its all gone. Are there any fixes for this that actually work? I love Gnome, but hate the way the panels save their...

I'm looking forward to it, this is proving to be very interesting. We're all rooting for you!
I have been running Rockbox on my V1 Fuze for quite some time now, and I love it. To answer your questions:
1. Yes, you still have to use tags on the files if you want to use the database.

Put one of the circles above the J so it looks more like one. That would help. :p
Man, I used to LOVE Toshiba laptops until fairly recently. They just don't make computers like they used to.
Wow. So what I get out of this is NOT to apply BIOS updates, huh
