Hi does anyone know why all my usb ports seem not to work.
I have tried a number of different usb devices but none seem to work.
Running 9.10 on a Acer Aspire 3100
Any help would be great but...

usb cd drive has just come to life? didnt do anything! so have put booted from live cd
Will search for how to fix Grub error "unknown file system.

I saw this (*-network:1 DISABLED) in the output of udo lshw -C network!

No not using ndiswrapper as for the drivers didnt install them just installed 8.04 and it did it.
