today i made a mistake while copying a shell-script file to /usr/local/bin/ i left the "/" next to bin so my bin folder is replaced by the file

i hasnt even formated my system just partition table is lost

yes i clicked create partition table so my hard disk looks like new one with no partitions

hi i had ubuntu 9.04
yesterday instead of formatting a pen drive in Gparted i selected hard disc and selected create partition table
so my entire hard disk partition is lost
so i cant boot ...

i have gparted
do i have to format a partition ?

i checked my swap space using top command and it showed
Swap: 0k total, 0k used, 0k free, 391396k cached

how to increase swap space?
