Ok, I've got it working. Problem is, whether I plug the adapter in before or after I open blueman, I have to enter
sudo hciconfig hci0 reset
This is kinda annoying... Otherwise everything works...
I'm at my wits end here. I finally got a bluetooth usb adapter and headphones and was all excited. Until I plugged in the adapter and got nothing. Tried installing blueman. Still nothing. Ubuntu...

For some odd reason, when I'm at work with my laptop and I use my walkie-talkie, it will cause my screen to go black? Not off mind you, just crank the brightness down all the way. I'm thinking it...
I get the same error, yet it's only when I do a hard shutdown, as with power loss.

Just another note... Mine won't light up blue, despite having the ability to switch it on and off. Threw me for a loop a few times. Try hitting it once and see what happens.
I tried this, seemed to work, but when I run the test all I get is a black screen. The webcam lights up signaling it's on, but no display. End up having to restart the computer.

After having all I could take of Vista, and not entirely fond of windows in general I was pointed towards Ubuntu. I plan on ditching windows entirely since I believe the few programs I use will run...
