[ubuntu] help gnome-panel problem

sorry for junk or whatever you say to me but i'm panic bcause when i right click on gnome-panel just shows helps and about panels menu, if i right click the icon just shows launch

properties, add new panel, remove icon, lock to panel, etc is missing

please help me

press: alt+f2
type: nautilus
press: ctrl+h
goto: .gconf/apps
delete: panel folder
logout & back in

that will bring you back to the original panel setup, like when you first installed.
