Edit: change the file in mods-available not in enabled. Sorry for the mistake.
Try to open the php5.conf in mods-available
Code:
sudo nano /etc/apache2/mods-available/php5.conf
It should look like this
Code:
<IfModule mod_php5.c>
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
</IfModule>
If the .php is not there apache will not parse the files.
Force apache to reload the module.
Code:
sudo a2dismod php5
sudo service apache2 restart
sudo a2enmod php5
sudo service apache2 restart
