rutorrent kills rtorrent when loading page

Hi,

I've just installed rutorrent following this guide: http://forums.rutorrent.org/index.php?topic=256.0

As I load the rutorrent site on my server it actually kills rtorrent with this error:
Caught Segmentation fault, dumping stack:
Stack dump not enabled.
Aborted
rtorrent

Anyone have an idea for a solution?
Another good guide would maybe be useful too.

Why wouldn't you just post in that thread...? If that's the guide you followed, seems like you'd have better luck asking there than here...

With that said, I have no clue what you did wrong. Does rtorrent work fine by itself?

I actually have no idea why I didn't ask in the thread.

But yeah, rtorrent works perfectly as it should.
With some testing with different versions I've concluded with I have some config wrong. But there are no logs containing any helping errors.

Could try a different client? I've had stability issues with rtorrent and rutorrent.

I ended up using Deluge instead and have no complaints.

Really? rtorrent for me runs the best - hands down. I've used torrentflux, torrentflux-b4rt, transmission, deluge... I even tried Azureus or Vuze whatever it is now.

Nothing - I mean nothing - beat rtorrent for speed, stability, and to me - most important - footprint! Rtorrent runs with a very, very small footprint. Plus, it's amazingly customizable.

To each his own, use what works best for you - for me, rutorrent & rtorrent work best.
