    Volume "Boot" message

    Hi I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 today and when it finished I got this message The volume "Boot" has only MB disk remaining.

    I know I,ve got plenty disk space.

    Appreciate any help with this

    Please download the boot info script from the site below to your desktop. Then run it in a terminal using the command on that page. This will produce a Results.txt file on your desktop. Please copy the contents of that file and paste it between CODE tags in your next post. (For code tags click on New Reply then on the # symbol in the toolbar and paste between them.

    Ok I,ve down loaded this but understand what you mean by running it?? Ive opened a terminal and pasted the command sudo bash boot_info_script055.sh which is listed at the top of the page. But the message I get is no such file or directory?

    If I double click the Icon I get pages of output? I,m assuming this is not what you we to cut and pastes?

    If the boot script is on your desktop you need to open up a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal and type in or copy/paste the command on that website ie

    sudo bash ~/Desktop/boot_info_script*.sh

    then enter your password and the sript will then produce the results.txt file.
