no sound on vaio TR3F

I just have switch to Ubuntu (I 100% new) on my Sony VAIO TR3F, I've installed Ubuntu with no problem but when I tried to play a CD there's no sound. I Cheked system>prefereces>sounds and plays no sound at all.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Try changing the "AutoDetect" values to "ALSA=Advanced Linux Sound Architecture" in your System->Preferences->Sound, "Devices" tab.
